JEQE, GRILLED DRUMSTICKS

15 cups flour
4 cups grated cheddar cheese
3 cups finely chopped spinach
2 packets of dry yeast
250 ml sugar
80ml salt
125ml oil(optional)
Warm water(kala ngamehlo)
2red peppers

Method
Hlanganisa all the dry ingredients together (except water) and then mix well, then add warm water uxove kahle until it is well kneaded, put in a warm place for it to rise and shove back for three or 4 times bese ufaka on ur greased coffee mugs and cook for 30minutes

Prego sauce
Peri peri sauce
Steak and chops
Barbaque sauce
Hot chillie flakes
Soy sauce

Method
Marinade your meat with all the ingredients above the refrigerate for two to three hours and grill for 45 minutes on ur highest oven heat.

Carrot chunks

Brown onion soup

Method
fry onion and add water, beef and all Ingridients except potatoes and carrots.
Cook for 15 min and add potatoes cook until cooked and add carrots.
Add soup mixture.

MOGODU(SHEEP)

Ingredients
2 kg ox or sheep tripe, cleaned and cubedcold water, enough to cover the tripe2 dried bay leaves2.5 ml (½ tsp) ground cloves2.5 ml (½ tsp) ground cinnamon10 ml (2 tsp) garam masala2 cardamom pods250 ml (1 cup) plain yoghurt2 x 400 g tins tomato purée2 cm piece of ginger, peeled and grated6 garlic cloves, crushed4 red chillies, choppedsalt and pepper15 ml (1 tbsp) sugar15 ml (1 tbsp) white wine vinegar60 g (4 tbsp) butter, cubed

Method

  1. Place the tripe in a deep pot filled with enough cold water to cover it and boil for 2 hours.
  2. In a blender, combine all the other ingredients except butter, and process into a fine, smooth mixture.
  3. Drain the tripe and return it to the pot. Add the yoghurt mixture and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. Add butter, stir through and season to taste.
  4. Serve with steamed bread.

FULL PLATE

Ingredients:
3 tbsp oil
1 can baked beans
1 medium onion (diced)
3 large carrots (roughly grated)
½ of medium red pepper (diced)
½ of medium green pepper (diced)
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1/4 cup hot/mild sauce
salt to taste

Instructions:
Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the onions and peppers for about 4 mins on high heat.
Add the grated carrots, salt, chilli,
and curry powder stir and fry for about 3 mins and if you are adding cabbage then now is the time to stir fry it for a minute
Lastly, add the beans, sauce and cook just until the beans are heated through while stirring to mix everything
